So gorgeous outside today. Sunny and 50. Tomorrow is supposed to reach the low 60s. We went for a family walk around campus.
Come Christmas, all we have to do is send you a family picture and a link to our blog. Everyone wins.

Goals
In honor of it being March, my goal for this week is to get Lars out for a walk each day. He likes the fresh air, and seems to prefer napping outside in his stroller, than being cooped up inside. I enjoy the change of scenery as well.
So far, so good!
Here we are on campus (still in the 30s and breezy, so put the canopy up)...also took a panoramic shot:

February 24, 2013 -- Lars's Baptism
Hey everyone,
Here are some pictures of Lars from today. The person at our church who normally records every service was sick today, so we ended up just having a friend use Steve's phone to get a video of Lars being baptized. Hopefully it works!

And the video (may need to turn the sound up):
Here is the Scripture that Steve read (this is the NLT, Steve was reading from the NIV I think):
But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you.
You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.2 Timothy 3:14-17
And, here is what Pastor Marc asked the body of Christ: Do you, as members of the body of Jesus Christ, promise to guide and nurture Lars, and support Steve and Laura as they do so, with love and prayer, with the fellowship of the family of faith?

Happy Five Months
Can you believe Lars is already 5 months old? Last night we took him to his first play, and he did great! We stayed for the first three acts and then left at intermission (past bedtime, needed to eat, getting fidgety...Lars, that is. Of course ;) The whole first part of the play (a good hour and a half), just captured him. He was content to watch everything that was going on (and several of Steve's students were the performers), and didn't make hardly a peep.
Tomorrow is another big day -- Lars is going to be baptized! Please pray with us that Lars will someday confirm the faith that he is being baptized into, and come to a saving relationship with Jesus. We will probably post a video or some pictures soon of the baptism.
Here are some pictures from the past couple weeks or so. What a happy boy we have!

Sunset
Friends, the sun is setting on our time here at Geneva. This will be our last semester here. There's a longer story to it, but the main parts of it are that we feel that God is leading us to another adventure, though we don't know what or where or how or any other details about it yet. God does, though, and we feel at peace about it.
Don't get me wrong. We love it here, and have been blessed to have found great community and friendships during our second time around in Western PA. We are thankful for our time here.
Please pray for us as Steve is starting to look for and apply for jobs in higher education. We have our eyes on getting closer to the midwest/family if possible, though we will go wherever The Lord wants us to go.
Let us know if you want to hear more of the details of our leaving, or if you know of any jobs Steve would be perfect for (thanks to those who have already done just that!). We take comfort in knowing that God already has a place and a job in mind, we pray that it would become apparent to us soon.
